Anniversary at Point Reyes

On March 16, 1989, Eric and I began a romantic relationship. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this occasion, we planned a romantic weekend at Point Reyes. Point Reyes is on the Marin County Coast, north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Geologically, it is that point at which the San Andreas fault, which is out in the ocean west of San Francisco, comes back on land. It is made from a large piece of granite that slid up here from somewhere near Santa Barbara, along with all the muck and mud it collected along the way. It forms an ecologically fascinating peninsula.
