Washington is packed with beautiful volcanic parks. We were sorry not to be able to make time for North Cascades, but hope to see it on a future trip. Washington has lots of water as well as fire, with fabulous coastlines along both the Puget Sound and the Pacific Ocean, as well as the beautiful San Juan Islands. We saw some absolutely amazing places.
