Canada

The next day I went to Parc Mont-Royal. I took the Metro to the park, but then walked up to the top of the hill, and then walked all the way back downtown. On top of the hill was a familiar-looking tower.

On the way up was an overlook from which you could see the city and the river.

Here is the skyline from that point.

You could hike up to this cross on top of the hill.

On my walk back through town, I saw this interesting reflection.

Here, you can see what it is.

I saw this lovely old building in a town square, but since I don't have a guide book, I don't know what it is.

I love urban juxtapositions of the old and the new.

In the end, I did so much walking that my legs started to shake. At least I am burning off some of the calories I am eating.
